Demae-can, provided by Demae-can Co., Ltd., is a delivery service that covers a variety of categories. Covering all of Japan, the service accepts a wide range of payment methods, including mobile and cash payment. The company offers a web version for PCs and smartphones, as well as iOS and Android apps.

The team used to perform simple manual pre-release testing of core features such as login, adding products, and payment, but it became necessary to also ensure the quality of non-core features as the service scaled.

It was taking two people two days to manually run regression tests for each weekly release.

Another key issue was reducing testing time to increase the agility of feature releases, so the company considered test automation. After careful evaluation, they decided to implement Autify to automate the testing process that used to be done manually.
